Our talented girls were facing a very strong opposition and found themselves behind early on following a quick attack. 
Westmorland levelled the game a few minutes later as E Marsden drove forward and fire the ball into the net. This sprung Burnley back into life and the home team restored their advantage with two quick fire goals.

In the second half Westmorland were much improved and despite conceding a fourth goal never gave up. Their hardwork and determination saw them claw a goal back when C Butcher scored. 
This gave Westmorland energy and they finished the game very strongly. E Marsden grabbed her second goal of the game; however time ran out before finding an equaliser. Both teams played their part in an entertaining game. 
Player of the match for Westmorland was shared between Ol Heaword and E Thornton!
