On Saturday 21st April , Westmorland County FA welcomed 9 U7 teams alongside 7 U8 teams to the second Trophy Event of the 2017/18 season at Dallam School 3G.

In the Under 7's Group A, Wattsfield United finished unbeaten to top their group after winning a final game decider against Kirkby Stephen. 

In the Under 7's Group B Milnthorpe & District ran out winners on a tightly contested group to set up a showdown with Wattsfield United.

Into the final Milnthorpe and District started quickly and took an early lead in the match and quickly doubled their advantage to lead 2-0, Wattsfield looked spured on by this and grabbed a goal to bring the scores back to 2-1. 

Milnthorpe and District held onto their 2-1 lead and were crowned Winners. 

In the Under 8's Group A Heathwaite put together a string of impressive performances to go unbeaten to the final.

In the Under 8's Group B, Wattsfield managed to edge past Ibis to 1st place finishing two points clear.

In the final Heathwaite U8's raced into an early lead  in what was destined to be a tightly contested affair. As the match progressed both teams had chances to score however with some good defending and goalkeeping meant the match finished 1-0 and Heathwaite retained the trophy.
