Under 13 Cup Final

Heathwaite YFC v Grange United YFC

On a very hot day at the Netherfield pitch, Heathwaite YFC faced Grange United YFC in the Under 13 Cup Final. In an extremely close cup final chances were few and far between, 20 minutes into the first half Heathwaite striker H. Greenall scored, Grange were denied an opportunity to score when Heathwaite's goal keeper advanced out of his goal, but luckily for him his defence players stepped into the goal mouth defending the ball away.

Half Time: Heathwaite 0, Grange United 1

Grange came out looking stronger in the second half with a close range goal just 8 minutes in with a second goal from an excellent cross from a corner to O Bailey who scored from close range.

Just before full time Heathwaites No 7 J Hindle scored, pushed the game into extra time.
